Loan Assistant

Full Time

We are seeking to hire a detail-oriented individual with a mind for finance and a team player’s attitude! Our Loan Assistants work directly with our Loan Officer staff to service loan customers and keep our processing smooth both in the branch and for the customer.

Description:

As a Loan Officer Assistant at Citizens Bank, you will play a crucial role in supporting our loan officers in efficiently processing and managing loan applications. You will be responsible for providing administrative support, communicating with clients, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in banking, lending, or financial services preferred.

Strong understanding of loan processing procedures and regulations preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities / Skills:

Assist loan officers in the preparation and submission of loan applications.

Collect and review financial documents from clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Communicate with clients to gather additional information and answer inquiries.

Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate the loan approval process.

Prepare loan documents and disclosures in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Maintain accurate records of loan applications and update databases accordingly.

Follow up with clients to ensure timely completion of required documents.

Provide administrative support to loan officers as needed.
